This week’s photo challenge on The Daily Post is all about doors. I was tempted to post a series of photos of doors, but since I’m currently travelling and have limited access to my image archive, I shall instead share my most recent ‘door’ picture!
This was taken last week in Paris, outside Cannibale Cafe in the 11th arrondissement. It was closing time, around 2am.
I always remember Cannibale Cafe as being the place where I first discovered Japanese whisky. This was back in 2009 and I had a Yamazaki 12 year-old single malt. I was impressed and have since become a fan of Japanese whisky!
These photos were taken with my iPhone and edited using VSCO Cam.
Love your photos, in this case specially the first and the last…but…japanese whisky? Not so sure 🙂

Depends on your taste of course. Nonetheless I recommend trying something from Nikka or Yamazaki – the two Japanese distilleries that are probably exporting the most to the rest of the world – and then maybe you will understand why Japanese whisky is well regarded 🙂
