Spotted while walking home from Place Flagey: Someone sprayed La Terre est plus belle que le paradis (the earth is more beautiful than paradise) on the pavement. A gentle reminder to appreciate what we have around us.
The diptych that I’ve made below contrasts a black and white version of this scene with what I had passed earlier in the square – of little children huddled around metal grates, amusing themselves with the water that was sprouting from beneath.
nice thought …. maybe, if Paradise exists, will be more beautiful but if I can stay here forever, I prefer don’t see it never.
