I first visited Barcelona in December 2008. This was also the first time I stepped foot on Europe. Since then, I’ve been back to the city on various occasions for work and play.

This year, I’ll be in Barcelona at least four times in the next four months for work. Which will be the most times I’ve ever visited the same place in such a short time.

Here are some photos that I took with my phone when I was there last week. Having been to the capital of Catalonia several times, I wanted to capture new perspectives of the city.

I had little time to myself when I was there, so had only made a few images that show a different perspective. Hopefully, I’ll be able to create more pictures along this line when I’m next in Barcelona!

If you have any suggestions or photo spots, please feel free to send them my way 🙂

Plaça de Sant Felip Neri
Plaça de Sant Felip Neri: Contrary to popular belief that the holes in the church were caused by executions carried out by firing squads during the Spanish Civil War, the irregularly-sized indentions were due to shrapnel from two bombs dropped by Franco’s air force which killed children who were taking shelter there (30 January 1938)
Sardana
Sardana is a traditional Catalan dance which is danced in a circle while holding hands
