I walk through Parc d’Egmont every day on my way to work. Rain or shine, it is always a pleasure to pass through this tiny park  – a tiny oasis steps away from the ugly Ring Road which is part of the unfortunate Brusselization phenomenon.

A few days ago, as always, I entered the park from Rue du Grand Cerf. I looked up and was struck by the beauty of the tree that was towering over me.

Funny that I didn’t notice it before.

  1. I walk through another parc on my way to work every day… it’s true, there are days I suddenly notice something which was there all along… it never fails to make me feel better, this daily walk.
