Inertia

It’s taking longer than expected to set up home in Hong Kong. Hence the radio silence. Publication on this site will resume soon. More to come!

Hello WordPress,

It’s me.

It’s been two months since our last meeting. Sorry for the radio silence. Life got in the way.

There was mundane stuff that needed my attention: such as scrubbing clean a mouldy washing machine; buying a dehumidifier, after mind-boggling research, in traditional Chinese; searching for quality towels that don’t cost a bomb.

Then there were some unusual activities: such as experiencing my first-ever typhoon*; enjoying our first staycation, which was in a little village in Sai Kung; playing cheerleader, for the first and last time, at a company event.

In between all that, there’s work, editing photos for Instagram and Pokemon Go walking around my neighbourhood.

Enough of excuses.

I just wanted to let you know that I’ve not forgotten about you. There are many stories and memories that I look forward to sharing with you. Please bear with me as I get my act together!

XOXOX
Angelina

P.S. Here’s enclosing a photo that I took from my apartment after the Typhoon Nida had died down.

That’s an interesting view of HK, how was the typhoon?

It was imprssive! Our apartment is near to and faces the waterfront, so we could see the waves created by the wind over the water.

Thank you! I just need to figure how to pick up from where I left off.
